Hockey Equals Fast-Paced Action

When it comes to breakneck speed and fast-paced action, hockey is peerless in todayâs sports world. It is not uncommon to see stretches of five to ten minutes without a stoppage in play. Moreover, since the players have the added benefit of playing on ice, the speed at which they play is unparalleled.
During the course of the game, players make frequent line changes, and the fluency with which these are made never ceases to amaze me. Sometimes in the middle of a shift, a player will lose a piece of equipment or break their wood hockey sticks; instead of stopping game play, the player simply skates by the bench and is handed a new piece of equipment. This high-speed nature makes hockey a joy spectator sport.
