Youth Hockey Fun

Two years ago, my son decided to signup for our local ice hockey league. My wife and I were surprised to say the least, as most of the other kids in the area enroll in baseball, basketball or football. Although the sport was a little out of the ordinary, we decided to let him get it a try.

After just two seasons playing, he has already become quite adept on his skates—for an eight year old at least. It is so cute to watch him and his teammates scurrying around after the puck. And one of my favorite parts is watching them tote around their inordinate amount of gear in their wheeled hockey bags.
