Hockey Fever

My entire family is hooked on hockey, since my father is an enthusiast and a former coach of a kids’ team in our hometown. Back when we were kids, our father enticed us into the sport by allowing us to join him during his practice sessions with his team. These days, we would still gather as a family and watch games whenever we can, oftentimes in our parents’ house.

During these moments when we come over, my brothers and I would usually be helping out in preparing lunch or dinner. My dad’s grill at the backyard is such a beauty, so it would be a waste not to use it. We would usually get cooking hours prior to the game telecast and cover the grill with NHL grill covers afterwards. We would immediately head inside the living area and watch the game with much enthusiasm!
